Hi, I’m Ulf.

I’m a photographer based in Frankfurt am Main, and I’ve been taking pictures of people for about 15 years. It started the way it often does — friends liked my photos and asked if I could photograph them. I said yes, and never really stopped.

People are what interests me most. Not just their faces, but the small moments between poses, the light hitting just right, the expression that wasn’t planned. That’s what I’m looking for when I shoot.

Frankfurt is my home base, but the city shows up in my work too — in backgrounds, in light, in mood.

How I work

I shoot with a Lumix S5 II X, a mix of modern and vintage lenses, and a portable strobe setup. For more spontaneous work, I use an iPhone 17 Pro Max. I don’t do commercial assignments — this is purely a passion project.

Work with me

I’m always looking for people to photograph (TfP). I work mostly with female models, but that’s a preference, not a rule — I’m open to working with people of any gender, and everything in between and beyond.

No experience needed. No payment involved on either side. Just good light and a bit of time.
